Welcome to The Benjamin School, where tradition and innovation are interwoven priorities that are hallmarks of our School experience.
Founded in 1960 by Nancy and Marshall Benjamin, what was once a two-room schoolhouse erected on a pineapple farm is now one of the nation’s premier independent day schools.
We are a community of passionate learners - truth seekers with robust minds and creative hearts. We value each student for their individual passions and talents and foster the joy found in independent thought and academic exploration. Anchored by a commitment to excellence, we work to broaden our students’ horizons on the stage, on the field, and in the classroom.
At the heart of our School is a commitment to character. We affirm the importance of our 12 Benjamin Values that serve as broad tenets of good citizenship and guide us in how we treat ourselves and each other.
